At the end of September we got together with our homeschool group and took a trip down to the river. My husband invited our teacher from highschool to come down and teach the kids about the different kinds of grasses and weeds in our area. We also found animal tracks belonging to deer, racoon, cat, dogs, and turkeys. We used plaster of paris to pour some tracks for each child to take home. Afterwards we had a barbecue and fellowship. It was such a fun time and the kids loved getting to search for the animal tracks and then pour their own plaster.
