Lavender Oil

Lavender makes me think of sleep. Its the fragrance used for all of the relaxing and soothing products you can purchase. It does have sedative properties, but it can be used for so much more than that! Some of the other properties of lavender oil are analgesic, anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, antidepressant, antifungal, antihistamine, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antimutagenic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antitoxic, antitumor, cardiotonic, and regenerative.

I use lavender everyday. During the summer we use it on bug bites and sunburns. Also any time someone needs to relax and calm down we diffuse it or rub it on their neck and feet. I also use it for an rash or itchy spot on skin. Some of the most common uses for lavender include:
