Cloth diapers can be as simple or as complex as you make them.
Here is a quick tutorial to show you how I easily fold and use cloth diapers.
The diapers that I use are pockets stuffed with flats, and flats with covers. I have a very small amount of storage space to keep them and have found that these are the easiest and take up a small amount of space.
To fold a flat into an insert for my pockets:
Lay the flat diaper out flat, then fold it in half, then fold in half again.
Then fold over 1/3 of the square.
Fold over the last 1/3 of the square to make a long rectangle.
Then insert into the diaper.
To use the flat with a cover, follow the same folding technique.
Then lay the flat into a cover.
That’s it! Seriously. These two folding techniques are the what I use to cloth diaper my babies. The flats wash and dry quickly and thoroughly since they are only one layer of fabric. Really Easy!!
